Fans relitigate Hamilton versus Rosberg and Verstappen title debates

Original: Still lost 6 races more to Rosberg on merit. Verstappen hit and spun by Bottas in '21 Verstappen got taken out by Hamilt

Formula 1 fans are arguing again over the 2016 title fight between Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg, with critics saying Hamilton lost six races to Rosberg on merit. Others counter by citing Verstappen's 2021 misfortunes - being hit by Bottas, taken out by Hamilton, and a tyre failure while leading in Baku - arguing his title win is unfairly dismissed.

Why now: Ongoing fan debates over which F1 driver's championship deserves more credit keep resurfacing on social media.
