Journalist Sam Litzinger says a friend, Pete from the secondhand bookshop Pete's Reads, is still selling hundreds of his books, with most proceeds going to charity. Pete keeps a small fee for hauling the collection away. Many of the titles are signed by authors Litzinger interviewed during his career.
Why now: A charity book sale with signed copies appeals to collectors and readers, prompting shares.
