A gardener reports an unusually lively summer in their garden, with new species appearing among them a praying mantis and a tiny toad. They credit the biodiversity to the many flowers planted by their spouse, noting that the arriving critters now help keep pests away naturally. The observation highlights how planting flowers can attract beneficial wildlife and support a small, self-sustaining garden ecosystem.

Why now: People enjoy and share stories of backyard biodiversity and natural pest control, especially in summer.
