The Welsh Connection: A Gift of Music for America 250

The Library of Congress is highlighting 'The Welsh Connection: A Gift of Music for America 250,' a project marking the 250th anniversary of American independence in 2026 through Welsh musical heritage. Details beyond the title are limited, but it ties Wales' choral and musical traditions to the United States semiquincentennial celebrations.

Why now: The upcoming 250th anniversary of US independence is prompting institutions to announce commemorative cultural projects.
