Drishyam debate: Ajay Devgn vs Mohanlal comparisons trend in India
Original: दृश्यम
Interest in the Drishyam franchise is surging in India, driven by comparisons between the Hindi remake starring Ajay Devgn and Mohanlal's original Malayalam films. Aaj Tak ran a piece arguing that 'Drishyam: The Conclusion' surpasses Mohanlal's Drishyam several times over, noting Devgn narrowly escaped an awkward comparison. Fans of both versions are debating which lead and which language version handles the thriller's conclusion better, keeping the franchise firmly in the conversation.
Why now: Renewed buzz around a Drishyam conclusion has reignited the long-running debate over whether the Hindi remake or the Malayalam original is superior.
