Original: RE: https:// mastodon.social/@rania40/11736 5539314075224 Caring Kind Humanitarians; Let's all help Aya if we can. By do
A crowdfunding appeal circulating on Mastodon is urging users to help a woman named Aya in Gaza, asking people to donate and share the campaign widely. The post, tagged with Gaza, Palestine, mutual aid and FediHelp hashtags, is being amplified through the platform's boosting culture, where users encourage even small contributions to keep humanitarian fundraisers visible.
Why now: Ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza is driving a steady stream of mutual aid fundraising appeals that rely on social media amplification.
