Original: I love the iPhone 18 Pro Max, but I’m not ditching my iPhone 17 Pro Max. Here’s why

A CNN review finds plenty to like about Apple's iPhone 18 Pro Max, but concludes that owners of the previous iPhone 17 Pro Max have little reason to switch. The piece reflects a broader debate over whether this year's refinements are enough to justify an annual upgrade, with incremental gains weighed against a still-strong predecessor.

Why now: Apple's newest flagship is being reviewed and compared against last year's model, prompting discussion over whether upgrading is worthwhile.
