England manager Thomas Tuchel says he would never rule out selecting players who are not playing in the Premier League's top tier, leaving the door open for footballers further down the English pyramid or abroad to force their way into his squad. The comments have drawn attention from fans debating whether lower-division or less prominent players can still earn international recognition under his management.
