Zack Polanski, leader of the Green Party of England and Wales, says his party can move Labour in the right direction. The comments, reported by the BBC, come as the Greens position themselves to pressure the government on issues such as climate policy and taxation, with Polanski suggesting Green influence can pull Labour towards more ambitious positions.
Why now: The Green leadership's strategy of pressuring Labour from the left is drawing attention in current UK politics.
