Fall bok choy and beetroot crops looking hopeful after rain
Original: Fall Harvest Bok Choy and Beetroot at least looking semi-promising. Rain and cooler weather hopefully give them a health
A gardener reports that their fall harvest of bok choy and beetroot is at least looking semi-promising, crediting recent rain and cooler weather. They are hopeful the conditions will carry the crops through a healthy October, as autumn vegetable growers keep a close eye on how cool-season greens and roots develop before the first frost.
Why now: Gardeners are comparing notes on how rain and cooling autumn weather are affecting their fall crops.
