Music Fans Share Picks for Bandcamp Friday

Original: My # BandcampFriday picks: Sweet Petunia # queer # folk # boston https:// sweetpetunia.bandcamp.com/albu m/foggy-mountai

On the latest Bandcamp Friday, listeners are recommending albums to buy directly from artists, including Boston queer folk act Sweet Petunia's 'Foggy Mountain Mental Breakdown', shoegaze and dreampop band Paper Lady's 'Idle Fate', and experimental noise artist Vorhex Angel's 'Drain'. Bandcamp Fridays waive the platform's fees so more money goes to musicians, prompting regular waves of shared recommendation lists.

Why now: Bandcamp Friday events prompt music fans to publicly share and promote albums they want others to buy.
