Jordan Smith holes remarkable albatross for Shot of the Day
Original: Jordan Smith’s amazing albatross is the Shot of the Day
English golfer Jordan Smith produced an albatross — three shots on a single hole — that has been named the PGA Tour's Shot of the Day. Albatrosses are among the rarest feats in golf, rarer than a hole-in-one, which explains the buzz around the strike. Fans are sharing the highlight as one of the standout moments of the tournament week.
Why now: An albatross is an extremely rare scoring feat, so the clip is circulating widely among golf fans.
