Trail Blazers fire announcer hours after hiring over old tweets
Original: NBA's Portland Trail Blazers hire announcer, then fire him hours later over tweets from his teenage years

Why now: The speed of the reversal and the role of teenage-era tweets have sparked debate over accountability and social media vetting.
