Nurses March on Palantir Over ICE Data Contracts
A group of nurses marched in protest against Palantir, targeting the data analytics company's contracts with US Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Demonstrators are pressing the firm over how its technology supports immigration enforcement and data collection on vulnerable populations. The action adds healthcare workers' voices to a wider wave of criticism of Palantir's government surveillance and immigration-related work.
Why now: Growing public and professional anger over tech companies' role in immigration enforcement has prompted healthcare workers to take to the streets.
