Internet users in the Philippines experienced slow and intermittent connections on October 2, 2026, following reported problems on international submarine cable routes linking the Philippines to Singapore and Hong Kong. The disruptions affected access to overseas websites and services, prompting complaints online as users waited for repairs and for providers to confirm when full connectivity would be restored.
