UNDP pushes digital skills for every stage of life
Original: Digital skills for every stage of life
The United Nations Development Programme is promoting digital skills training aimed at people of all ages, from young learners to older adults. The initiative reflects growing concern that people without basic digital competence risk exclusion from work, services and public life as economies digitise. UNDP is framing lifelong digital learning as key to inclusive development.
Why now: Unequal access to digital skills is a growing development concern as economies and services move online.
