Crocheters sharing messy in-progress tapestry work
Original: Messy progress pic anyone? #crochet #tapestry #intarsia #fiberart #yarnaddict #crafting #diy #maker #imadethis
Crafters are posting photos of their unfinished crochet and tapestry projects, embracing the messy middle stages of intarsia and fiber art work. The images show tangled yarn and half-finished colorwork, framed as a relatable moment for makers. It is part of a broader habit among DIY and fiber art communities of sharing progress pictures rather than only polished final results.
Why now: Progress pictures are a popular way for crafting communities to share work-in-progress and connect over the messy reality of making things by hand.
