Mike McDaniel takes blame for Chargers' winless offensive start
Original: Mike McDaniel takes responsibility for Chargers' poor offense in 0-3 start: 'I'm not living in hope'
Mike McDaniel said he takes responsibility for the Chargers' poor offense through an 0-3 start, telling reporters 'I'm not living in hope.' The comments came as the team faces mounting scrutiny over its sluggish production on that side of the ball. McDaniel framed the fixes as his job to make rather than relying on improvement simply arriving on its own.
Why now: The team's winless start has put its struggling offense and its leadership under immediate pressure.
