EveryLibrary, the US library advocacy group, has published a list of films and television series centred on libraries and librarians. The roundup highlights notable titles depicting library work and culture, encouraging audiences to explore stories about the profession. The group notes that libraries have long been a focus on screen, and the list is being shared among library supporters and readers online.

Why now: Advocates are spotlighting pop-culture portrayals of libraries to raise support for the institution.
