Sony Bringing AI Upscaling to Base PlayStation 5
Original: Sony is Bringing New AI Upscaling Technology to the Base PlayStation 5
Sony is rolling out new AI upscaling technology to the original, non-Pro PlayStation 5, according to a new report. The feature would bring enhanced image upscaling similar to the PS5 Pro's machine-learning approach to the standard console. Gamers are discussing what this could mean for visual quality and whether older hardware can handle the workload.
Why now: Owners of the standard PS5 are interested in getting AI-enhanced graphics without buying the pricier PS5 Pro
