Prosecutors in Scotland have dropped a 'potential crime' investigation into the death of a Scottish wingsuit flyer, according to a BBC report. The inquiry had examined whether any criminal conduct was involved in the fatal jump. No charges will follow, and authorities have closed the case. The news is drawing attention among those who followed the original incident and its aftermath.

Why now: The case had been publicly unresolved since the death, so the decision to end the criminal probe is newsworthy.
