Original: Hands off nature! Die EU will die Gesetze schwächen, die uns schützen. Wir sagen: Hände weg von der Natur! Unterzeichnet

Environmental group Bund Naturschutz has launched a petition called 'Hands off nature', warning that the European Union intends to weaken laws that protect people and nature. Supporters are being urged to sign online, and the campaign is circulating widely on social media with calls to defend existing EU nature protection legislation against planned weakening.

Why now: Concerns that the EU plans to roll back environmental protections have prompted a petition campaign now spreading across social platforms.
