Poll finds immigration both Trump's best and worst issue

Original: Immigration is Trump's best and worst issue: ABC News/Washington Post/Ipsos poll

A new ABC News/Washington Post/Ipsos poll shows immigration is a double-edged issue for Donald Trump. Voters reportedly view him more favourably on immigration than on most other topics, but his handling of the issue is also a source of sharp criticism and polarization. The findings underline how central immigration remains to his political standing.

Why now: Fresh poll data highlights how immigration both strengthens and weakens Trump's standing with voters.
