An artist is drawing attention to a 2013 low-poly 3D artwork titled 'Sea Dream', depicting a stylised sea scene modelled in Blender. The piece is being recirculated among digital art and design communities, tagged under 3D modelling, illustration and graphic design, and marked 'NoAI' by the artist, reflecting ongoing debate over the use of artists' work in AI training.
Why now: Digital art communities are actively sharing and discussing older 3D artwork, and the 'NoAI' tag taps into current concerns about AI and artists' rights.
