Russia continues its attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure. Early in the morning, a drone struck the Southern Bridge in Kyiv, one of the city's key east-west crossings. The bridge and several others were closed as a result, while airstrikes on the capital continued, adding to the ongoing disruption of transport and critical infrastructure.
Why now: Russian drone and air attacks on Ukrainian cities and infrastructure are ongoing, making each strike on critical crossings newsworthy.
