Announcer Kurokawa Chiaki takes over post-Miyaneya news slot
Original: 黒木千晶
Yomiuri TV announcer Chiaki Kuroki becomes the main anchor of the new national news program 'News to', airing in the slot right after the long-running 'Miyaneya' show. Kuroki said she will pour everything into the program, describing the challenge as facing rough waves head-on. Veteran host Seiji Miyane and Friday co-host Shinji Murakami of Kanjani Eight have exchanged public words of encouragement ahead of the launch.
Why now: The new program launches imminently, drawing attention to the high-profile handover of a major national TV slot.
