Netanyahu quoted saying Israel targeted civilians in Iran
Original: BREAKING NEWS: Netanyahu, live on air: He said: "We targeted civilians, families, fathers, mothers, and children in Iran
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is quoted, in remarks circulating widely, saying Israel targeted civilians, including families, fathers, mothers and children, in Iran. Social media users are calling the statement an admission of war crimes, though the exact source and context of the quote remain unverified. The claim is spreading rapidly amid ongoing debate over Israel's military strikes on Iran and their civilian toll.
Why now: A sitting prime minister allegedly admitting to targeting civilians would be an extraordinary and inflammatory statement during the Israel-Iran conflict.
