Gaza children taught deradicalised curriculum, report says
Original: Exclusive: Deradicalised curriculum for children in Gaza classes sows seeds of hope
The Jewish Chronicle reports exclusively that children's classes in Gaza are now using a deradicalised curriculum, which the paper describes as sowing seeds of hope. The report suggests teaching materials have been changed to remove incitement and extremist content, offering a modest sign of progress for education in the territory amid the ongoing conflict. Details of who is running the programme and how widely it has been adopted remain sparse.
Why now: Readers are engaging with a rare positive development reported from Gaza's education system amid the war.
