A pet owner brought a wet umbrella into the living room to dry and their cat, Fred, immediately stood up on his hind legs to inspect it in a meerkat-like pose — but the moment was gone before a photo could be taken. The same post notes spring signs in the garden, with a Nashi pear tree starting to show life and a lemon tree budding.

Why now: People enjoy relatable, lighthearted pet anecdotes and garden updates shared casually online.
