Falcon Heavy flies its first mission for U.S. spy satellite agency
SpaceX's Falcon Heavy rocket has flown its first mission on behalf of the U.S. spy satellite agency, a milestone for the heavy-lift launcher as it takes on national security work. Flying a classified payload for the National Reconnaissance Office marks a new phase for the vehicle, which previously launched commercial and NASA missions, and underscores SpaceX's growing role in military space operations.
