Kyiv's city administration has closed the South Bridge and the Paton Bridge in both directions, and shut the Metro Bridge toward the right bank, following a nighttime attack on the Ukrainian capital. Public transport routes have been temporarily rerouted while the crossings remain shut. The closures affect key arteries over the Dnipro River, disrupting commuters and traffic across the city.
Why now: An overnight Russian attack on Kyiv forced the closure of major river crossings, disrupting transport for residents.
