Elon Musk to advise Pentagon on future war

Original: Elon Musk to return his attention to government, advise Pentagon

Elon Musk is set to return to government work, this time advising the Pentagon on matters of future warfare, according to a Washington Post report. The news is drawing attention given Musk's business ties to the defense sector through SpaceX and his previous, often controversial, role in government under the Trump administration.

Why now: Musk's renewed government role raises questions about conflicts of interest and his influence over defense policy.
