MLB drops plan for baseball game in Grand Teton National Park
Original: Good. But you don't get credit for not doing something you should never have even have considered in the first place. #
Major League Baseball has dropped a proposal to host a game in Grand Teton National Park, according to a Washington Post report. Reaction has been sharply critical of the idea ever being considered, with commentators saying the league deserves no credit for abandoning a plan that threatened a protected natural area. The withdrawal ends a proposal that had drawn criticism from conservation-minded observers.
Why now: Major League Baseball just cancelled a controversial plan to stage a game in a national park, drawing relief and criticism of the idea itself.
