Alabama Governor Kay Ivey is urging federal officials to bring the U.S. Space Academy to Alabama, saying the state is making a strong case for the facility. The appeal builds on Alabama's long-standing aerospace credentials, including Huntsville's Marshall Space Flight Center and the U.S. Space & Rocket Center. Details of the selection process and rival bids remain unclear.
