Nine hungry Black Bear cubs overwhelm Washington wildlife center
Original: Nine hungry Black Bear cubs are keeping PAWS Wildlife Rehabilitation Center busy
The PAWS Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Washington state is caring for nine Black Bear cubs, all arriving hungry and in need of round-the-clock feeding and rehabilitation. The unusually high number of cubs at once has put pressure on the nonprofit's staff and resources as they work to raise the animals for eventual release back into the wild.
Why now: The unusually large group of rescued cubs has drawn attention because of the intensive care burden it places on the rehabilitation center.
