College Football Program Lists 32 Players on Injury Report Amid Disease Outbreak
A college football program has placed 32 players on its injury report as a disease outbreak sweeps through the team. The sheer number of sidelined players is highly unusual and raises questions about whether the team can field a competitive roster for its upcoming game. Sports outlets are covering the report as both a competitive and public health concern.
Why now: An outbreak sidelining 32 players at once is an extraordinary situation affecting upcoming games.
