Mastodon users rally donations for family's university fees
Original: RE: https:// kolektiva.social/@helynbasil/1 17314311588547486 ‼️GA🍉A FAMILY IN NEED‼️ 🚨A DONATION TO HILEN @ helynbasil
A fundraising appeal is circulating on Mastodon for Hilen and his sister, two siblings who want to attend university but cannot afford the tuition costs. The appeal, shared under the Gaza aid tag, urges small donations saying any contribution will make a real difference. Supporters are re-sharing it widely to keep the family's plight visible.
Why now: Mutual aid appeals for families in Gaza, especially for education costs, draw urgent re-sharing across decentralized social networks.
