Florian Philippot asks whether France's presidential election could be cancelled
Original: FLORIAN PHILIPPOT: WILL THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION BE CANCELLED?
Florian Philippot, the French politician and president of Les Patriotes, is publicly raising the question of whether France's presidential election could be cancelled. He put the claim to his audience in a broadcast with the slogan 'Les Incorruptibles' and sirens imagery, drawing well over a hundred thousand likes. No confirmation of any cancellation has been reported; the framing is his own.
Why now: Concern and speculation among French voters about the fate of the presidential election, amplified by Philippot's alarmist framing
