Wyoming EV Registrations Surge Tenfold in Two Years
Original: Is Wyoming Going Electric? EV Registrations Surge Tenfold In Two Years
Electric vehicle registrations in Wyoming have increased roughly tenfold over the past two years, according to a report by Cowboy State Daily. The figures point to a surprisingly rapid shift toward EVs in one of the least populous and most conservative US states. The trend is drawing attention as a sign that electric vehicle adoption is reaching even the country's most car-dependent rural regions.
Why now: The tenfold growth in EV registrations in a state known for fossil fuels challenges expectations about where electric vehicles are catching on.
