Original: Review: ‘Operation Mincemeat’ at CIBC Theatre spins a true wartime story into a nutty musical

The Broadway musical 'Operation Mincemeat' has arrived at Chicago's CIBC Theatre, drawing a new review from the Chicago Tribune. The show turns the true Second World War deception operation — in which British intelligence used a corpse with fake documents to mislead the Nazis — into what the critic calls a nutty comedy musical. The review highlights the show's blend of absurdist humor with a remarkable true wartime story.
