Musician announces album release timed to Bandcamp Friday
Original: I am super excited about my upcoming album: this will be released on Bandcamp tomorrow at 11:00 am. It is also Bandcamp
An independent musician has announced an upcoming album release on Bandcamp, scheduled for 11:00 am tomorrow. The release is timed to coincide with Bandcamp Friday, when the platform waives its fees so all revenue goes directly to artists. The musician says fans can also email for physical copies. Other artists are drawing attention to similar Bandcamp Friday releases as a way to support independent musicians.
Why now: Bandcamp Friday events regularly prompt independent musicians to announce releases and encourage direct fan support.
