Starlink Teases Hourly and Weekly Internet Passes
Original: Starlink 'Community Site' Program Teases Hourly, Weekly Internet Passes
Starlink is signaling a shift toward short-term internet access through its 'Community Site' program, with hints of hourly and weekly passes rather than standard monthly subscriptions. The move would make satellite connectivity more accessible to travelers, event organizers, and users in areas without fixed service. Coverage from PCMag and PCMag Australia is drawing attention to what a pay-as-you-go model could mean for satellite internet pricing.
Why now: Short-term internet passes would be a notable change from Starlink's usual monthly subscription model, sparking interest in cheaper, flexible access.
