Original: Rabbi who coached Adam Brody for ‘Nobody Wants This’ calls him ‘ignorant Jew’ over Gaza ‘genocide’ comments
A rabbi who coached Adam Brody for his role as a rabbi in the Netflix series 'Nobody Wants This' has publicly called the actor an 'ignorant Jew' after Brody referred to the situation in Gaza as a 'genocide'. The rebuke highlights ongoing tensions within Jewish communities over how to characterise the Gaza war, with public figures facing criticism for taking positions on the conflict.
Why now: The clash between a Hollywood actor and the rabbi who trained him spotlights Jewish communal divisions over Gaza, drawing fresh attention to both the actor and the show.
