Local artists and art organizations invited to join city database
Original: Local artists, art orgs invited to join city database
Athens is inviting local artists and art organizations to sign up for a new city-run database. The registry is meant to give the city a clearer picture of its creative community and make it easier to connect artists with public projects, events and funding opportunities as they arise.
Why now: Local creatives want to be visible for city arts opportunities, and the city wants a reliable directory for planning cultural programs.
