Game 3 of the NL Wild Card Series moved to primetime
Original: Game 3 of the NL Wild Card Series flexed to primetime
Game 3 of the National League Wild Card Series has been flexed to a primetime slot, MLB announced. The decisive game, which was originally set for an afternoon start, will now be played in the evening window to reach a larger national television audience. The change affects fans' travel plans and kickoff times for what could be a win-or-go-home matchup in the postseason opener round.
Why now: A schedule change to a decisive playoff game disrupts fans' plans and draws wide attention during the MLB postseason.
