Sergio Garcia files to terminate LIV Golf contract
Original: Sergio Garcia files to terminate contract with LIV Golf
Sergio Garcia has filed to terminate his contract with LIV Golf, the Saudi-backed circuit he joined in 2022 after leaving the PGA Tour. The Spanish golfer was one of the breakaway league's most prominent signings. His potential departure would be a significant blow to LIV Golf, and attention now turns to whether he seeks a return to the PGA Tour.
Why now: Garcia was among LIV Golf's highest-profile recruits, so the end of his deal signals a major possible shift in the golf civil war
