Japanese Golfer Turns to Divine Help Over Swing

A golfer in Japan has shared a swing clip with the remark that things have come to the point of praying to the gods for help. The phrase η₯ι ΌγΏ (divine intervention) is used half-jokingly to describe a game in such a slump that only a prayer can fix it. Golfers frequently trade self-deprecating comments like this when their swings fall apart.
Why now: Golfers relate to the joke of a swing so bad it calls for prayer.
