Musk cast as unofficial US defence minister in French commentary

Original: Pendant ce temps, l'afrikaner milliardaire libertarien aux 4 passeports devient le Ministre officeux de la Défense/Guerr

French-language commentary claims Elon Musk, the South African-born libertarian billionaire with four passports, is becoming the United States' unofficial Minister of Defence. The post laments that attention is diverted to a burning high school in France, allegedly tied to paid criminal labour, while 'real news' like Musk's growing influence over American defence and war policy goes underexamined.

Why now: People are reacting to Elon Musk's perceived growing, unelected influence over US defence and military policy.
