Man who found crosier in St. Paul scrapyard returns to Catholic faith
Original: Man who found crosier in St. Paul scrapyard finds his way back to the Church
A St. Paul man who discovered a bishop's crosier, the ceremonial shepherd's staff, in a local scrapyard says the unexpected find led him back to the Catholic Church. The story, reported by the Twin Cities' Catholic newspaper, frames the recovered crosier as a spiritual turning point that rekindled his faith after time away.
Why now: The unusual circumstances of finding a sacred object in a scrapyard and its role in a personal faith journey make the story compelling to Catholic readers.
