Pastor warns that busyness at work can become an idol
Original: Being busy can be a sign that we've made our job an idol. New post on the idol of work and finding real rest in Jesus. V
A pastor has published a new blog post arguing that constant busyness can signal that work has become an idol in a person's life. Writing on the LeadBiblically blog, he encourages readers to recognise when their job has taken God's place and to find true rest in Jesus through the practice of Sabbath.
Why now: The post taps into ongoing faith-based discussions about workaholism, burnout and the spiritual discipline of Sabbath rest.
